FIELD: medicine; medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves making ST-segment discretization, producing zero-, first- and second-order Walsh function signals on ST-segment existence time interval between the beginning and end points. Corresponding spectral coefficient is calculated for each of the functions. The spectral coefficients values are compared to zero level and corresponding ST-segment information parameter availability conclusion is drawn. The device has unit for building electrocardiogram signal, unit for selecting QRS-complex, unit for selecting ST-segment, discretization unit, unit for building Walsh functions, unit for determining ST-segment information parameters and indication unit having corresponding parts between them.
EFFECT: high reliability in determining parameters; wider gamma of ST-segment forms.
