METHOD FOR BUILDING INVAGINATION VALVE MECHANISM Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves creating invagination valve by cutting seromuscular layer of intestinal wall and its following suturing and immersing mucosubmucous layer portion into its lumen. The small intestine is laid over peritoneum near the valve. Mesenterial edge of the small intestine is sutured with the first fixing suture. The second fixing suture is sewn on the opposite intestine edge with peritoneum edge being caught so that the distance between the first and the second fixing suture is equal to 1.5 times external diameter of the intestine. The sutures are tightened. Intestine wall is sutured with the first fixing suture ligature in the direction of the second one having exit pierce on countermesenterial edge 5 mm distal with respect to sutures forming the valve. Intestine wall is sutured with the second fixing suture ligature in the direction of the mesenterial with exit pierce being 5 mm proximal with respect to sutures forming the invagination valve. Distal ends of the ligatures after making sutures are tied to each other without suturing on mesenterial and countermesenterial edges. Ellipsoid valve lumen is formed.

EFFECT: avoided anastomosis suture inflammation, stenosing and cicatrisation.
