SUBSTANCE: organic colloidal dispersion useful as internal combustion engine fuel additive contains particles of at least one compound based on at least one rare-earth element, at least one acid, and at least one diluent selected from nonpolar hydrocarbons, at least 90% of above-mentioned particles being monocrystalline and the dispersion itself being prepared by reaction of rare-earth element salt with a base in a basic medium. Additive can also be suitable for liquefied gas.
EFFECT: increased stability and catalytic activity of dispersion.
