FIELD: mechanical engineering; measurement facilities.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists of step-by-step delivery of sheet article to zone of measurement, direction of radiation from sources of optical systems lying on one straight line and moving optical systems in direction square to direction of sheet article feeding. Radiations reflected from sheet article are taken at equal time intervals by position-sensitive photodetectors of optical systems, and distances from centers of corresponding optical systems to surface of sheet article is determined by measuring coordinates of light spots on position-sensitive photodetector, and thickness of sheet article is calculated by indicated formula. Invention improve accuracy of measuring sheet article thickness by account of inclination of lower and upper surfaces.
EFFECT: simplifier implementation of method , enlarged operating capabilities of device providing measurements of thickness and warpage coefficients over entire surface of article.
