FIELD: food engineering.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has linear conveyor for transportation of wrapped food products and units disposed above linear conveyor, with set of said units being arranged in parallel with one another. Each unit has first feeding device equipped with opening for receiving of inner food material and second feeding device arranged opposite first feeding device and adapted for receiving of outer food material. Each unit has pair of blade-type pumps, first pump being used for receiving of inner food material and second pump being used for receiving of outer food material. Each pump is equipped with opening for receiving of food material from adjacent discharge opening of related feeding device. Each unit is provided with wrapping and cutting devices. In the course of operation, pumps feed under pressure respective food materials from feeding devices to double heads disposed between feeding devices. Double heads deliver inner food material to be packed and outer food material for wrapping of inner food material so as to obtain narrow food product of double-layer structure. Cutting device cuts narrow food product into set of spherical food products of double-layer structure with following delivering of resultant double-layer food products onto conveyor in two rows.
EFFECT: simplified and compact construction and increased efficiency.
