FIELD: separation of a gas-liquid mixture moving in a pipeline for a gas and a liquid.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is intended for separation of a liquid medium moving in a pipeline first of all for a gas and a liquid. The device for separation contains a body 3, linked with a pipeline 13, at least one inlet hole 9, one outlet hole 35 for a separated liquid and an outlet 48 for separated gas. The body has at least one separating element 28 lying along a route of a stream. At that if one looks in direction of the stream movement, the element 28 has the first end 32 and the second end 33 located opposite to the first end, and the second end 33 of element 28 adjoins outlet 35 for a liquid. The device allows to separate the gas and the liquid droplets from each other at high and low speeds of a stream. The offered device provides a high quality of separation of the phases irrespectively of the rate of the stream flow due to the fact, that a surface tension of a liquid and differences in the inertial forces of the liquid and the gas prevent running of this liquid through holes of the separating element.
EFFECT: the invention ensures a high quality of separation of the phases irrespectively of the rate of the stream flow.
