FIELD: railways.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to track devices for controlling rolling stock. Device for monitoring violation of lower clearance in a railway vehicle comprises U-like transducers including horizontal plates secured at lateral supports, devices to return said plates to vertical position, transducers of their departure from vertical position, laser range finder, threshold devices and controller. Wherein said transducers are arranged inside and outside the track on platform arranged in inter-sleeper space. Side supports pass through rectangular slots in the platform, are installed on horizontal axes with possibility of being turned in brackets fixed on the platform from below, and are connected to devices for their return to vertical position and sensors of their deviation from vertical position. Controller inputs are connected via threshold devices with appropriate transducers of side supports deflection from vertical position. First output of the controller is connected to the device for controlling the input signal, and the second output is connected to the computer of the station operator, also connected to the output of the single-beam laser range-finder.

EFFECT: improving the operational characteristics of the control device, as well as ensuring simple localization of the location of the disturbed clearance in the train.
