FIELD: seismic geology, namely, technologies for controlling initiated shifts mode in zones of seismic-dangerous fractures, possible utilization for solving seismic safety problems in places of position of megapolis cities, ecologically dangerous objects (nuclear power stations, hydraulic assemblies, storages of dangerous wastes, tunnels and the like), and also at building sites and during engineering of highly important buildings.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method, control over shifts mode in fragments of seismic-active tectonic fractures, external effect is induced onto selected fragment. Source parameters of fracture fragment are recorded. Then testing effect is induced onto fracture fragment to estimate source level of tectonic forces in it. After that for initiation of smooth shifts of fracture wings in shift mobility mode following effect onto selected fracture fragment is performed. Selection of type and parameters of later effect is performed with consideration of source level of tectonic forces in fragment.
EFFECT: decreased excessive level of accumulated tectonic energy of depths.
