FIELD: methods and devices for metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: clamping device includes clamping cartridge (1) and clamping element (2) clamped in it. Clamping cartridge (1) has mounting hole (7) for clamping element (2) and clamping means (20) for clamping element (2) clamping in mounting hole (7). Clamping element (2) is made elongated, while clamping cartridge (1) is equipped with elongated mounting hole (7) for clamping element (2). In area of input of mounting hole (7) on clamping cartridge (1) there is at least one flexible elastic centering element (9), which aligns clamping element (2) when entering into mounting hole (7) across longitudinal axis (L) of mounting hole (7).
EFFECT: such a clamping device is especially suitable for implementation of clamping systems, by means of which with the reproducible accuracy in the working area of the processing machine can be clamped holders (40) of the workpiece from large to very large dimensions.
