INTERMEDIATE RAIL FASTENING WITH INSULATING MEMBER (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: railway transport; permanent way.

SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for fastening rails to rail bases. Proposed intermediate anchor rail fastening contains anchor rigidly fitted in reinforced concrete tie, damping lining, two spring clamps, each interacting through stress regulator with brackets of anchor head. Clamps rests by its rounded off parts on clamp spacer located on tie, and straight-line part of each clamp presses rails through on-rail insulating spacer in form of angle plate. According to first design version, each web of angle plate is chosen with due account of material rigidity of damping rail linings at compression and it has width providing contact of its end face part with tie at moment of maximum compression under action of maximum forces from train. According to second design version, each web of angle plate has thickness less than distance between end face part of rail foot and head of anchor, end face part of angle plate being made and angle providing of one of ribs with tie in unloaded state and turning of angle plate at compression of rail lining at load from train.

EFFECT: increased strength, improved operation reliability of rail fastening and provision of reliable pressing of rail by clamp through insulating on-rail spacer in form of angle plate.
