INTERNAL RAIL FASTENING Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: railway transport; permanent way.

SUBSTANCE: invention designed for fastening rail to underrail bases can be used on railway main lines, tunnels and approach tracks of industrial enterprises. Proposed rail fastening contains anchor rigidly installed in reinforced concrete tie, each head of anchor is provided with two brackets spaced along rail and is made with projections to engage with upper surface of tie, shock absorbing underrail linear, two spring clamps made for engagement with corresponding brackets of anchor head by end tongues through stress regulator. Each clamp presses rail by its straight line part through overrail insulating linear. Projections for engagement with upper of tie made on each head of anchor are made integral with support underclamp pads, each provided with stiffening ribs in lower part arranged at angle to longitudinal axis of tie in direction from central part of anchor to zone of support of rounded-off ends of clamps. Spring clamps are fitted on anchor heads for resting by rounded off parts on support underclamp pads.

EFFECT: improved strength and operation reliability of rail fastening, reduced reaction leading to pulling anchor out of tie, prevention of development of longitudinal cracks.
