FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates, in particular, to a method for preparing fluorine-containing olefins of the formula R1-C(CH3)=CH2 wherein R1 means CF3CFHCF2- or HCF2CF2-. Method is carried out by heating the mixture of polyfluorinated alcohol of the formula R2-C(CH3)2OH wherein R2 = R1 and concentrated sulfuric acid in the presence of zeolites taken in the amount 1-40% of charged alcohol mass and in the mole ratio sulfuric acid : polyfluorinated alcohol = (0.5-1):(0.3-0.5), respectively, and at temperature 40-120oC. Concentrated sulfuric acid can be charged into the reaction vessel after heating the mixture of polyfluorinated alcohol with zeolites before temperature of the reaction beginning. Proposed method provides enhancing the yield of end products of high purity from unit of reaction volume for time unit.
EFFECT: improved preparing method, enhanced effectiveness.
