FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: branching unit comprises first member for assembling from the side opposite to the that of branching and second member which has a branch. The first and second members are interconnected to form a ring space between them and outer surface of pipeline. The pipeline is provided with a protecting ring in such a way that the seal is arranged completely inside the protecting ring in radial direction. The second member of the branch unit is mounted on the seal. The first member is mounted on the pipeline. The first and second members are interconnected to compress the seal providing a ring space. The ring space is filled with a mortar, which is solidified and fixes the branch unit on the pipeline.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of pipeline.
