FIELD: rocketry, applicable as a driving device of armor-piercing subcaliber projectile for tank and artillery guns.
SUBSTANCE: the driving device of a finned armour-piercing subcaliber projectile has supporting annular sectors with front full-sized and a diminished bottom cavities with aerodynamic plates installed in them positioned in the centre perpendicularly to the projectile axis of symmetry and having oval-shaped calibrated holes from the right and from the left. The supporting annular sectors are made detachable. Separation of the supporting annular sectors is specified by the equality of the moments turning over the supporting annular sector.
EFFECT: provided a quick and synchronous separation of the sectors from the projectile body after departure from the bore.
