SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out laser thermokeratoplasty operation acting upon cornea with laser radiation on Ytterbium-Erbium glass. Wavelength is equal to 1.54 mcm. Pulse power is 150-165 mJ/cm2. Laser spot diameter is equal to 200-300 mcm. Depth is 1 mm, pulse exposure time is 0.5 ms.
EFFECT: reduced risk of traumatic complications; stable refraction effect; recovered normal vision function.
