SUBSTANCE: method involves treating cornea with infrared laser radiation on Ytterbium-Erbium glass having wavelength of 160-165 mJ/cm2 and laser application diameter of 0.2-0.3 mm when initial cornea thickness in central zone being less than 520 mcm and refraction not greater than 46 dpt.
EFFECT: increased refraction; reduced risk of corneal injury.
