FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to production of tires. Proposed unit comprises first conveyor device to carry first tire component, first assembly unit comprising first assembly drum with first rotational axis set into position of receiving first tire component carries by first conveyor device. Second conveyor device to carry second tire component, other than first one, second assembly unit comprising second assembly drum with second rotational axis and set to working position of receiving second tire component carried by second conveyor device. It comprises also device to transfer tire components between first and second positions. Note here that, at least, one assembly drum may move vertically across its rotational axis to working position whereat its rotational axis is displaced but parallel with rotational axis of another drum set in working position.
EFFECT: higher quality of tires.
