FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, iron with steam supply.
SUBSTANCE: iron has reservoir with water of atmospheric pressure. Water is delivered from reservoir through head arranged between reservoir and steam-generating chamber, which is preliminarily heated and regulated. Sole of iron has ironing surface and is provided with steam exit openings. Iron is further provided with device for imparting resonant or vibratory relaxation state to water and steam system. Cyclic changing of water and steam pressure provides for automatic maintaining of average pressure exceeding pressure of water column in iron cavity.
EFFECT: instant evaporation of water and economic usage of iron.
