SUBSTANCE: device (1) for steam ironing comprises a generator 20 to transform water into steam with the help of heating, an outlet hole 25 to release exhaust 27 of steam from the generator 20, an accessory 30, to supply water into the generator 20 of steam, a hose (40), which connects the accessory (30) of water supply with the steam generator (20), and a controller (50), adapted to control the accessory (30) of water supply for a period of time, when there is some necessity or no necessity to supply steam in process of ironing, while the steam outlet hole (25) is closed. Therefore, a reserve amount of steam is created, which is stored in the inner space (21) of the steam generator (20), and in some cases, at least inside a part of the hose (40). When it is required to exhaust (27) steam, the reserve amount of steam is released via the steam outlet hole (25). The time interval of water supply into the steam generator with the outlet hole closed has a previously determined value.

EFFECT: increased capacity of steam exhaust.
