FIELD: mining, namely concentration equipment, possibly collection of finely-divided fractions of valuable component such as gold at panning out metal-bearing dust.
SUBSTANCE: separator includes housing in the form of elongated envelope inclined relative to horizontal plane and filled with sets of plates parallel one to other and to axis of envelope. Said plates are assembled by two groups with plates of adjacent groups mutually turned in opposite sides relative to vertical axis. Separator also includes inlet and outlet branch pipes; vibration exciter; collecting recesses arranged along bottom of housing. Bottom of housing is in the form of corrugated surface whose ducts are parallel relative to axis of envelope. Collecting recesses are arranged along lower parts of ducts. Inlet branch pipe is mounted in upper part of envelope. Outlet branch pies are arranged in lower part of envelope. Envelope has cross section in the form of rhomb or square whose diagonal plane is vertical one. Corrugated bottom is mounted with possibility of motion relative to housing and it is joined with vibration exciter.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of particle separation.
