FIELD: electric engineering.
SUBSTANCE: transformer has section of non-ferrous metal pipe, electromagnet disposed outside the pipe and electrodes. At least one of electrodes is introduced into the pipe to provide air-proofness and electric isolation. The electrode is made in form of rod with electro-contacting end pipe. The edge pipe is mounted at preset distance from wall of pipe. Rod also has current-tap section covered with insulation coating. There is no electroinsulating coating onto inner wall of the pipe. Electrode is connected with measuring device together with case of pipe, which case is provided with joint for grounding.
EFFECT: simplified design; stable meteorological characteristics; prolonged working life.
