FIELD: measuring technique.
SUBSTANCE: periodical movement of vortex structures is created in measuring channel of vortex counter and parameters of movement are registered in form of output periodical signal which is later transformed into pulse signal, Then number N of pulses, which come within controlled period of time, is measured. Additionally the relation of r=f/v is measured, where f is current value of frequencies of coming pulses, v is current value of cinematic viscosity factor. Volume of matter thrown through ΔV is measured by using relation of ΔV=K(r)xΔV, where K(r) is current value of weight coefficient, bench mark values Ki=K(ri), i-1,2, ..N of which weight factor are determined by preliminary calibration of range of r values, which range corresponds to exploitation conditions. All the measurements are performed in low part of sensitivity range of vortex counters.
EFFECT: improved precision of measurement in non-linear area of operation of vortex counters.
