FIELD: light industry, in particular, traveling articles, such as automatically opened and folded umbrellas.

SUBSTANCE: umbrella has rod with handle and head, strap fixed on rod for longitudinal movement and for embracing said rod, and collapsible double-folding carcass pivotally connected with head and strap. Carcass is composed of spokes comprising tie-rods and levers pivotally connected with one another. Each spoke is composed of flexible wire tie-rod pivotally joined with its one end to umbrella head and with its other end to end spoke lever. Mid part of flexible wire tie-rod is pivotally connected to strap through first-stage lever, which is pivotally connected through additional and intermediate tie-rods to end spoke lever equipped with bracket embracing flexible wire tie-rod and additional tie-rod. Umbrella is folded so that inner side of cupola fabric not exposed to water is faced to the outside. Cupola fabric is supported with the help of spokes over the entire length thereof to render aesthetic round shape to cupola.
