FIELD: medicine; devices for prophylaxis and therapy of diseases of back, such as osteochondrosis, ischias, scoliosis and other diseases of deformation of intervertebral disks.
SUBSTANCE: therapy is based on relaxation of muscles on rigid surface during sleep. Proposed bed has frame with tray secured on end struts provided with legs, spring-mattress, bedding, shield made from boards and located between mattress and bedding; boards of this shield are laid longitudinally relative to spinal column of human being and are fastened together by means of transversal members which are provided with detachable or non-detachable fasteners; length of rigid shield shall be no less than length of spinal column and no more than length of its body; its width shall not exceed width of mattress and shall be no less than width of shoulders of human being; thickness of boards shall ensure longitudinal rigidity of shield; to this ends, boards have convex rounded-off side ends; rounding-off is selected experimentally; width of boards is equal to magnitude determined by width of spinal column from base of its ribs in lower portion of chest.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of therapy.
