FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: coupling comprises housing which receives driving and driven shafts provided with face cams at their ends and mounted in radial thrust bearings. The rocking washer is interposed between the face cams and defines rotation pairs together with the cams. The rocking washer is defined by two disks. The flexible metallic diaphragm is interposed between the disks and is connected with the housing over its periphery. The surfaces of the disks which face each other are convex and allow the disks to be in a contact in their central area. The disks are made of a flexible material and inserted between the face cams with preliminary axial pressing of their edges to each other. To transmit the torque, the face cam of one of the shafts is made of a ball which is in a contact with the ring ways on the shaft faces and rocking washer.
