FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves increasing intraocular pressure by 10 mm of mercury column in dosed manner. Mean optic nerve disk excavation depth is selected as eye condition state parameter. Its growth to 25 mcm is interpreted as normal optic nerve apparatus stability with respect to vacuum-compression loading. Its growth higher than 40 mcm indicates low stability.
EFFECT: high accuracy of the method.
