SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. For early diagnosis of Primary Open Angle Glaucoma (POAG), a rheographic index (RI) is determined for transpalpebral rheophthalmography and at value below 21.0 megaohm, a diagnosis is made of the incipience of the POAG.
EFFECT: method increases the accuracy of the diagnosis at early stage the development of the glaucomatous process by detecting a deficiency of the uveal blood supply, expands and deepens the possibilities of predicting the development and course of POAG at its incipience.
