FIELD: sugar industry.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of sugar industry, in particular, to method of purification of diffusion juice. The method provides for predefecation of a diffusion juice by lime and by a settling of a juice of the first saturation, the main defecation, the first defecation and separation of the settling. Then they conduct an additional defecation, the second saturation and separation of a settling of the second saturation. For defecations before the second saturation use 0.5-0.8 % CaO. The separated settling of the juice of the second saturation divide into two parts in the ratio of 1 : 1.5 - 2. Its smaller part is introduced into the deficated juice before the first saturation and the greater part of the settling is directed for the predefecation. The settling of the first saturation is fed to the predefecation in amount of 3-6 % of the mass of beet. The invention ensures an increased degree of the diffusion juice purification and improved filtration and settling performances of the juice of the first saturation.
