FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: one should form a through scleral trepanation in projection of a flat section of ciliary body, perform cyclodialysis, apply a collagen sponge onto sclera so that its edge cover the half of trepanation opening. Medicinal preparations should be injected subconjunctivally, being near the collagen sponge. The method provides the decrease of intraocular pressure, develops the depot of medicinal preparation and enables to carry out active neuroprotective therapy in postoperative period.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
