FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: one should perform blind incision of leukoma for three fourths of corneal thickness to develop episcleral fragment to mark behind it with blind incisions the area of scleral dissection with sinus, then one should develop intrascleral depot due to forming 4 scleral grooves located meridionally and being 1.5-2.0 mm beyond the limits of episcleral fragment and connected with each other with 6-8 oblique incisions. Then one should remove marked scleral strip with sinus, dissect leukoma according to the cut and fix a transplant with a blanket suture.
EFFECT: more efficient operation of leukomas.
