FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed catalyst converter contains housing with outer steel and inner ceramet walls with heat insulation in between, end face covers, inlet and outlet branch pipes, soot filter coaxial with series-mounted porous ceramet oxidizing and recovering catalytic units, exhaust gas reverse bypass manifold with nozzle, and pressure transmitter. Gas distributing units secured on end face walls are provided with turnable sections with ports and levers connected with turnable sections for interacting with nozzle. Gas distributing units are connected with exhaust gas reverse bypass manifold and additionally introduced exhaust gas direct bypass manifold designed for cleaning and regeneration of soot filter and catalytic units by reverse flow of exhaust gases.
EFFECT: improved convenience of operation of catalyst converter and provision of possibility of its automatic cleaning.
