FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has hollow cylindrical casing having diametrically arranged slits on one of casing ends and flange on the other end, shank and rest members mounted in the casing with an option to be placed in casing slits and rod with a nick connectable to the shank. The device has additional rod mounted on the shank and rest members with an option to be placed in additional casing slits. The shank is rotatable. Both rods are threaded and have conic guide members for pushing the rest members. The conic guide members are mounted with their greater bases meeting each other. The rest members mounted on bushings having internal thread movable along rod. The rest members are expandable in moving into longitudinal slits in the casing cutting in into bone tissue with their sharp ends, and compressible in moving the bushings along the rod towards casing end so that sharp ends of the rest members go beyond the external casing surface.
EFFECT: high reliability in fixing fractured bone fragments.
