METHOD FOR RESTORING ESOPHAGEAL LUMEN AT CANCER Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, surgery.

SUBSTANCE: one should apply endoscopic intraluminal surgery. In case of tumor's endophytic growth type and combined growth form at unpronounced exophytic component being of below 5 mm height one should perform argonoplasmatic coagulation. In case of soft-consistency tumors of exophytic growth type as uneven cords and combined growth type at pronounced exophytic component being of above 5 mm height one should conduct chemical necrolysis followed by argonoplasmatic coagulation. One should apply electrocoagulation and argonoplasmatic coagulation in case of dense-consistency tumors of exophytic growth type and combined growth type at pronounced exophytic component at height being above 5 mm. In case of soft-consistency exophytic tumor at lobate, scalloped surface one should perform looping electroexcision followed by argonoplasmatic coagulation of residual tumor components and its bottom.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of esophageal luminal restoration.
