FIELD: medicine; agriculture and other branches of economy.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of medicine, agriculture and other branches of economy, in particular to a device for generation of ozone. The device contains high-voltage and earthed located in a sealed body plate-type electrodes with the central holes, a power supply unit, leads of which are connected to the electrodes; a union for a working oxygen-containing gas supply; a union for withdrawal of heat transfer medium and a gas-ozone mixture. The electrodes are made with a capability of cooling by the heat transfer medium and coated outside by a dielectric. In addition the electrodes are made out of parallel plates hermetically connected t0 each other forming a cavity, in which there are jumpers rigidly linking the plates to each other. Some parts of the electrodes plates have protruding beyond the limits of the active zone. The unions for the heat transfer medium delivery to the electrodes and withdrawal of the heat transfer medium from them are connected to the cavity of the electrodes through injectors and the collectors made in the form of pipes with holes located at the opposite edges of the electrodes. The spacing dielectric inserts separating the electrodes are brought out of the zone of discharge and installed on a circumference between the protruding parts of the plates and the adjacent electrodes. The offered invention ensures equalization of the electrical field between the electrodes, more uniform distribution of the discharge between them, enlargement of a volume occupied by the discharge and a possibility to operate using heightened voltages and a constant optimal length of a discharge interval at exclusion of a breaking-down of the dielectric.
