FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises encased alternating high-voltage earthed electrodes coated by dielectric material and cooled by heat carrier. Said electrodes are made up of flat or corrugates annular plates with their edges tightly interconnected to form inner chamber accommodating ring-like spacers arranged perpendicular in plate inner surfaces. Besides, it incorporates power supply with its terminals connected to electrodes, unions to feed working oxygen-containing gas and heat carrier and unions to discharge ozone-gas mix and heat carrier, unions to feed heat carrier to electrodes with their outlets located nearby inner spacer, and unions to discharge heat carrier from electrodes with their outlets located nearby outer edges of electrodes. Aforesaid spacers are provided with holes to receive unions feeding heat carrier. First inner and next odd spacers are furnished with cutouts made diametrically opposite the heat carrier feed union, while second inner and next even spacers are provided with cutouts made diametrically opposite the heat carrier discharge union. Cutouts are aligned with heat carrier feed and discharge unions while their area Sc makes Sc=(2÷3) Schan, where Schan is heat carrier passage cross section formed by adjacent spacers.First inner and all odd spacers are connected to heat carrier feed union while outer spacer is connected to heat carrier discharge union. Said spacers have holes to accommodate rods rigidly secured to spacers to allow equal distance there between. Said rods are arranged regularly along the circle and in symmetry about axes of heat carrier feed and discharge unions.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, lower costs.
