FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ozonizer equipment and can be used in the production of ozonizers for purification of drinking and waste water, disinfection of premises, processing of seeds and cereals, etc. Device comprises high-voltage and grounded electrodes located in the hermetic case, made of air-tightly connected together along the edges of annular flat or corrugated plates forming an internal cavity. In the cavity are located spacers of annular shape, installed perpendicular to the inner surfaces of the plates, rigidly connecting the plates together and forming a system of channels for the flow of the coolant. Flow channel swirlers are installed in the channels for the flow of the coolant. Swirlers are made in the form of baffles inclined to the channel axis to provide an alternating flow direction to the upper and then the lower electrode plate. Slope of the partitions to the channel axis is 30÷50 degrees, and the distance between swirlers on the flow does not exceed 3 times the smallest size of the cross section of the channel.
EFFECT: reduction of the temperature of the electrode with constant values of the withdrawn power and the flow of cooling liquid.
