FIELD: analytical methods.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical analytical methods, in particular to structure and a method for manufacturing potentiometric electrodes. Composite electrode is preferably used in production and environmental water control (aqueous solutions) for level of cuprous ions. Base for sensitive element of sensor composite is conductive metal-polymer composite containing superfine copper particles in polymer matrix, which is made by chemical reduction-mediated deposition of superfine copper particles on the surface of dispersed particles of thermoplastic polymer followed by hot compaction.
EFFECT: improved performance characteristics of sensors (stable records and long continuous operation), considerable simplified structure, and reduced manufacturing technology.
