FIELD: devices for generation of flat gas-and-droplet jets in fire-fighting and irrigation apparatuses, in processing equipment for deactivation, deodorization and deposition of various coatings, and also as cooling means.

SUBSTANCE: sprayer has casing with two partitions dividing casing internal cavity along course of flow of liquid into pressure chamber and outlet chamber. First partition has two cylindrical openings equal in diameter and arranged symmetrically relative to axis of symmetry of pressure chamber. Second partition serving as end wall of sprayer casing is equipped with outlet spraying opening which is axially aligned with outlet chamber. Sizes of spraying outlet opening are selected on condition that projection of edge of outlet opening onto surface of first partition should divide cross section of each of two openings provided through first partition into two segments. Area S_s of segment arranged inward of projection of outlet opening edge complies with the condition: 0.3≤S_s/S≤0.6, where S is cross sectional area of opening provided through first partition. Side surface of outlet chamber is made narrowing in the course of flow of liquid and may be defined by conical or conoid-shaped surface. Inclination angle of generatrix of side conical surface of outlet chamber to axis of symmetry of pressure chamber may constitute from about 15 deg to about 50 deg.

EFFECT: provision for generating high velocity flat wide gas-and-droplet jets featuring spatial homogeneity, and minimum losses of power consumed for generation of said jets.
