FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to weight measuring equipment, in particular, to a method for weight and dimensional control of vehicles. It can be used by organizations providing traffic control and safety on motor roads, where it is necessary to obtain on-line information on loads on roadway, transport and cargo flows. System comprises a computer and connected to it through communication channels weight control unit, video surveillance and photographic fixing unit, characterized by that it comprises a server based on an industrial computer with a GLONASS / GPS sensor, device for measuring weight parameters and vehicle speed, additionally equipped with inductive sensors for automatic determination of the presence of vehicle in the area of weight and dimensional control, laser detectors and slope sensors. To identify the vehicles, an automatic system of weight and dimensional control is equipped with a video surveillance and photographic fixing unit with automatic illumination at night and in conditions of poor visibility, which enables to recognize GFR in bad weather conditions (snow, rain, fog). Server performs consolidated processing of a set of data coming from measuring devices, stores and transmits the processed data array over crypto protected communication channels to external information systems of the supervision service. In order to ensure exclusion of offense execution and write-off of funds from vehicles owners, the server integrates special permits for travel with the database.

EFFECT: technical result is broader functional capabilities of the system.
