FIELD: city electrified transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for collecting current from contact wire. Proposed contact slipper is made in form of plate with working part in form of groove corresponding to shape of contact wire with symmetrical bells at ends. Side walls of slipper are solid, with thickness in working zone equal to 20-30% of slipper width. Radius of groove is 30-40% greater than radius of working surface of contact wire.
EFFECT: reduced side wear and breakage of side faces of slipper, increased operating characteristics of slipper.
