FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: one should introduce dimethylpyrazolyl selenide for dry cows at the dosage of 10 mcg/kg on the 25-30th and 15-18th d before calving. The present innovation enables to activate cellular and humeral immunity and increase reproductive function in dry cows that, in its turn, favours more intensive growth and development in youngsters.
EFFECT: increased performance in youngsters.
