FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves determining edge of a pedicle flap formed within previous operation. Circular corneal incision is carried out in this zone by means of trepan to epithelium depth so that the flap edge passes through incision center. Epithelium is completely removed in this zone and cutting instrument is pierced under the flap. When making detachment, the cutting instrument is not allowed to violate the circular incision boundary. The peripheral flap portion is detached in several attempts in moving along the circumference. The cutting instrument moves along an arc from the center outward, bringing the instrument into the formed space under the flap. Complete detachment is finished with spatula. Additional laser ablation is carried out and the flap is placed to its initial position.
EFFECT: excluded epithelium cells ingress into the space under the flap; improved vision acuity.
