FIELD: cryogenic engineering; fuel reservoirs for different transport facilities (automobile transport, aircraft) or storage of cryogenic fuels.
SUBSTANCE: proposed fuel reservoir includes internal container made from corrosion-resistant material with main heat-insulating layer; it is provided with two additional heat-insulating layers made from composite materials, for example from reinforced glass fiber, metallo-plastic or glass-reinforced plastic; one of additional layers is located between internal container and main heat-insulating layer and other layer is located above main heat-insulating layer.
EFFECT: reduction of mass; low cost; increased time of storage of liquefied natural gas without venting.
