FIELD: transport engineering; vehicles with motors supplied from dc system.
SUBSTANCE: proposed multimotor electric drive contains two traction dc motors whose series armature windings are connected to plus terminal of supply source. First lead of field winding of first traction motor is connected with terminal of first contactor, lead of field winding of second traction motor is connected with first terminal of second contactor and through third contactor, with minus terminal of supply source. Common terminal of cathode of first thyristor and anode of second thyristor is connected with second lead of field winding of second traction motor and through first resistor shunted by fourth contactor, is connected to terminal of fifth contactor, other terminal of which being connected with first lead of field winding of first traction motor. Sixth contactor is connected between common terminal of fifth contactor, first lead of field winding of first traction motor and vacant lead of armature winding of second traction motor. Second terminal of first contactor is connected with second terminal of third contactor, and second lead of field winding of first traction motor is connected with common terminal of anode of first thyristor and cathode of second thyristor and, through second resistor shunted by seventh contactor, is connected to first terminal of eight contactor whose second terminal is connected to first terminal of second contactor, second terminal of second contacto4r being connected with second lead of armature winding of second traction motor.
EFFECT: provision of required excitation of traction motors at starting and reversing.
