FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport and can be used in DC traction motors. The device incorporates four DC traction motors, contactors, a power supply, a step-down converter built around a bipolar transistor with isolated gate, a throttle, a capacitor accumulator and a diode. The capacitor accumulator gives out the power, via the step-up converter built around the bipolar transistor with isolated gate, the throttle and the diode, to the traction engines.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability.
