FIELD: transport engineering; brake systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed antilock antiskid brake system with limiter of travel of auxiliary piston in brake master cylinder contains accelerometer and weight sensors installed on wheel axles and coupled with computer which operates taking into account relation of longitudinal and cross road adhesion coefficient and relative slipping at braking using limitation of pressure rise in brake system with subsequent fixing and holding constant pressure, and also self-contains control cylinder with reservoir. Said cylinder houses fixed guide bushing and piston-stop with seal which is directly engaged with rod and spring. Valve for closing and opening liquid space in self-contained control cylinder is installed outside of self-contained control cylinder. Main and auxiliary pistons are arranged in brake master cylinder with flexible member of constant or variable rigidity placed in between. Movement of brake pedal is transmitted through rods and shaped levers to piston-stop in self-contained control cylinder and auxiliary piston of brake master cylinder.
EFFECT: improved service characteristics of antilock brake system.
