FIELD: transport engineering; antilock brake systems of vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed antilock brake system with limitation of travel of auxiliary piston in brake master cylinder includes brake master cylinder, control cylinder, brake system, brake mechanisms and brake pedal. Auxiliary piston has reservoir for liquid which accommodates additional piston rigidly coupled with rod of brake master cylinder. Coupling of additional piston with auxiliary piston is provided through liquid whose volume changes under action of elastic force of spring of brake master cylinder at reduction of pressure of working medium in brake system. Reservoir of auxiliary piston is connected with reservoir of brake system through drilled hole and flexible hose bypass valve. Housing of brake master cylinder has definitely spaced holes. Said holes are arranged in zone of movement of auxiliary piston. Pickups are installed over said holes. Combined operation of pickups and auxiliary piston makes it possible to control movement of auxiliary piston by computer.
EFFECT: provision of automatic control of emergency braking process.
