FIELD: transport engineering; brake system of vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed antilock brake system contains master brake cylinders of circuits, each provided with auxiliary piston, spring placed between auxiliary piston and piston with seal, and electromechanical valve connected with control cylinder and made for cutting off delivery of liquid from master cylinder of corresponding circuit. Antilock brake system contains also accelerometer also accelerometer made for recording changes in braking process deceleration connected with computer. Computer is connected with control cylinder. Areas of pistons in master cylinders of circuits and in control cylinder are chosen to provide possibility of limiting pressure in circuits in process of braking at definite level by means of control cylinder.
EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of antilock brake system.
