METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF HYDROLYZATE FROM STARCH-CONTAINING MATERIAL AND PLANT FOR REALIZATION OF THIS METHOD Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: food-processing industry; biotechnology; production of fodder.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method is based on use of starting starch-containing material at moisture content of 20-28% and delivery of this material to boiling screw-type extruder followed by extruding the material at temperature of 150-200°C and pressure of 0.2-10·10⁶ Pa. Extrudate thus obtained is subjected to hydrolysis with water or with solution of diluting ferment which is delivered directly to extrudate in zone of its escape from extruder for starting the hydrolysis process. Compressed air is also delivered to this zone for mixing the extrudate with reagents. For realization of this method, plant is proposed which includes boiling extruder whose housing is provided with matrix and spinneret for unloading the extrudate and discharge pipe line with branch pipe for delivery of water or diluting ferment solution which is located in zone of extrudate outlet. Pipe is also provided in said zone with compressed air inlet branch pipe and has section with larger diameter.

EFFECT: simplified construction; facilitated procedure.
