METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF HYDROLYSATE FROM STARCH-CONTAINING MATERIAL Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC C13K1/06 C12C7/06 

FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves supplying raw starch-containing material with humidity of 20-28% into cooking chamber of screw extruder, extruding raw material at 150-200°C and under a pressure of 0.2-10·10⁵ Pa and hydrolysis of obtained extrudate with water or solution of liquefying enzyme in mixture with distillery dreg. Mixture is supplied into hydrolytic chamber connected with cooking chamber of extruder whose chamber is equipped with matrix with draw plate ensuring required pressure and temperature. Hydrolytic chamber is equipped with a slide valve at the output and with an exit branch so it is filled with hydrolised mass. Extrudate is supplied from extruder cooking chamber into hydrolytic chamber directly into the hydrolised mass. Invention ensures production of hydrolysates from starch-containing material with high concentration of dry substances up to 55% and possibility of disposal of distillery dreg.

EFFECT: invention ensures high intensity of dissolution and enzymatic hydrolysis of starch-containing material, rheological safety of the processes, reinforcement of machine-apparatus patterns of production.
